What a delightful spot by the sea!! Susie the owner is such a wonderfully nice person - she was beyond helpful in assisting us finding the perfect combo for lunch. She overheard us telling the waitress what we wanted and she popped into the conversation to recommended. She was spot on! The cafes hospitality (they provide blankets if you are sitting outside) really left an impression.  Everything is made to order, so no fast food here. Sit back, relax, and get ready for a delicious meal!

    We ordered:
    - soup special (chicken, leek, potato)
    - fresh haddock & chips
    - scampi
    - cafe lattes

    YUM!

I like the cafe as this is on the beach side and is a good environment for dinning. However, the food here is okay. I ordered scampi and chips, but I think the coating of scampi is not thin enough. Overall I would say getting food is handy but I wouldn't purposefully to eat here.

A sign hangs in the restaurant that 'All our food is cooked fresh to order; we are not a fast food outlet so sit back and enjoy the view while we prepare your food.' This is quite true as we waited an hour for our food. But it was well worth the wait and the food. Definitely worth a return!

I love me some brunch at the beach, and this is my favourite spot on the promenade in Aberdeen!

Great selection of tea, coffee and cakes for those popping in to refuel, and a really great menu to choose from for those hankering a bigger meal. There's seats indoors for overcast days and a small seating area outside on the promenade for those lovely sunny afternoons. Win!

Although a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss, this cafe is extremely popular with the locals which speaks volumes in quality and value, but as its quite small inside it does get very noisy, so if you're looking for a more peaceful experience id recommend going early or taking advantage of their To Go options

Great hospitality to a single business traveler on their last night in town.  And great food!
